When many couples begin planning their wedding, one of the most common questions we hear is: “Does the officiant provide the flowers, arch, chairs, or decorations?”
It’s a great question because many couples are planning a wedding for the very first time.
The wedding ceremony and the ceremony décor are two separate elements of your wedding day.
Your venue, wedding planner, florist, rental company, and decorator create the beautiful setting. Your officiant creates the ceremony itself. At The Vow Experience, our role is to design and deliver a meaningful, personalized wedding ceremony that celebrates your relationship and officially unites you in marriage.

Elements of Your Ceremony
The Processional
The entrance of the couple, wedding party, family members, and honored guests. We work with you and your planner or coordinator to ensure everyone knows when to walk and where to stand, creating a smooth and elegant beginning to your ceremony.
Welcome & Opening Remarks
Your ceremony begins with a warm welcome to your family and friends, followed by meaningful remarks that set the tone for your celebration.
The Love Story
One of our signature elements is sharing the story of your relationship. Rather than delivering a generic script, we create a ceremony that reflects your journey, your personalities, and the moments that brought you to this day.
Readings, Prayers & Special Rituals
Depending on your preferences, your ceremony may include scripture, meaningful readings, family blessings, unity ceremonies, sand ceremonies, handfasting, candle lighting, or other symbolic traditions that are important to you.
The Declaration of Intent
This is the legal portion of the ceremony where each partner confirms their intention to marry one another.
The Vow Exchange
Whether you choose traditional vows, write your own, or combine both, this is where you make the promises that define your marriage. We provide guidance and resources to help you create vows that feel authentic and personal.
The Ring Exchange
Wedding rings serve as a visible, unbroken symbol of your lifelong commitment. We guide you through this meaningful exchange with personalized wording that reflects your relationship.
The Pronouncement
With great joy, your officiant officially declares you married.
The First Kiss
The moment everyone has been waiting for. Your first kiss as a married couple is one of the most memorable photographs of your wedding day.
The Recessional
The celebration begins as you walk back down the aisle together, followed by your wedding party and family, officially beginning your new chapter as husband and wife or as newlyweds.
Marriage License Guidance
We also guide you through the legal marriage license process and, when included in your collection, ensure your completed marriage license is properly signed and returned according to Florida requirements.

What’s Not Included?
Your officiant is responsible for creating and performing your wedding ceremony. Floral arrangements, arches, chairs, décor, aisle runners, music, sound systems, permits, and ceremony setup are typically provided by your venue, wedding planner, florist, rental company, or decorator. If you need recommendations, we’re happy to connect you with trusted South Florida wedding professionals from our preferred vendor network.
